verses and curses

verses and curses

making featherweight rhymes on my solid lines
heartache used to hold me down, now i fill my crown
with positive affirmations and credited dedications
that bring me through the storm and rearrange my norm

my paper and pencil makes what the world cannot take
the shape of my world, made with colors and girls
kaleidescope faces, what i don't like i erases
the visions that spurn, when they hit my veins it burns

and so, i'll share with you, a riddle or two -

when the sun closes his eyes what does he see?
if i were the moon would he carry me?
can i pull or push, like i cast away the sea?
if the earth was cut open what color would it bleed?
